Prysmian, a heavyweight in the energy and telecom cable manufacturing arena, has just secured a framework agreement with Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE), France’s transmission system operator, that could reshape the landscape of offshore wind energy in the country. The agreement covers a comprehensive suite of services, including engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCI) for submarine power cable links that will connect the Fos project and the Narbonnaise project to the French transmission grid.
